7 Card Stud Poker Guide

Seven card stud is one of my favorite poker games. Stud poker may not be as popular as Texas Holdem but it requires much more skill to master. I play all 3 Stud variations regularly and I can't get enough of it. If I get bored with normal Stud I'll just play Razz or Stud H/L. If you can master one it won't be difficult to master the other two.7 Card Stud is part of many mixed poker games as well, such as 8-game poker and H.O.R.S.E poker. HORSE is more traditional but 8 Game poker includes the very uncommon Triple Draw poker game known as 2-7 Triple Draw.

Successful 7 Card Stud is much less understood than strategy for Holdem and Omaha so it is a much more profitable game for skilled players.
